About us, Established in 2000, kabassa is a team of experienced marketing professionals that share a passion for food and drink industry

We operate a can cook, do cook policy in the office and can often be found spying on shoppers at supermarkets, grilling our friends that work in the food industry or tasting lots of different products. We’ll get fat if we’re not careful.

Matt Exley founded the company in 2000, someone that passed his Camp Cook badge in the cubs but failed his O’ Level in Food and Nutrition.

Other team members have ladles-full of relevant experience that adds to our collective clout. This includes the running of the Soil Association’s press office, work in the sales and marketing team at Bottlegreen Drinks Co., numerous years in PR and sponsorship agencies in London and Bristol, plus client work on major brands such as Lindt Chocolate, National Dairy Council, Petit Filous, Olivio, Birds Eye Walls and Harvey’s Bristol Cream.
